This text is extracted from the book "The Search Engine" written by Sherman Alexie. The author was born and raised in the Spokane Indian Reservation. In his childhood he was attained by a brain disorder. Rejected by other students, he buried himself in reading very early. He was educated outside the Spokane Indian Reservation. Very good student, he became a writer and published many books and poems. Ten Little Indians is short stories whose main characters are American Indians in the modern world. The heroine of the first novel, Corliss has some common points with the life of the author. Développement :

Conclusion :
On the one hand, Through this text we realize that everything is possible. Ultimately, one may very well be part of a middle class or be an Indian in reservation and to make studies, having a great job and good wage. On the other hand, comes the question from books and youth. Does the taste of reading has disappeared with the arrival of new generations? All the books of all library will be less and less read? Does no one likes reading
