Dear Madame Bonomo and Madame Villemont
I am sure you must have received hundreds of letters of sympathy for the tragic death of your beloved sons , but I felt compelled to write and express to you both how deeply saddened I was when I heard the terrible news .
I have a daughter who is 22 and is studying in Guadalajara , Mexico , for one year and a son who is travelling in the Far East . I of course miss them and worry for them , but they have chosen to broaden their horizons and are loving every minute of their exciting journey and I pray every day that they will return home safely .

I would never assume to understand your grief but I felt sickened , heartbroken for you , and so angry when I read about this terrible event in the paper . This could have happened anywhere in the world and I am ashamed that it happened here in my country by two hateful individuals who were allowed to carry out this most heinous crime .Unlike your sons they will never be missed by anyone , mothers nor fathers who probably have few if any happy memories of their sons .

Hold on to the fact that your sons were good , good people who gave you so much pleasure and happiness in their short lives .
I am so sorry for your loss and send my deepest sympathies to all your family members and friends who have been affected by this terrible tragedy .
I will think of you often .
