Malcolm x
Today we are going to speak about a great man who has an important role in the liberation of African americans.
Malcom X was born the 19 May 1925 and he died the 21 February 1965. He is also known as El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz or Malcom Little. When he was young, he was nicknamed "Red" for his hair color. We will speak about the name of Malcom X later.
Malcom X was a fomous advocate for the right of the African americans, he had accused the united states of america for crimes against the black community. He was a moralizer.He was a famous speaker, he is known for his quiet and peacful speech. He said thinks that the americans african tought in theirs mind, he wanted the same right for the black people and the white people . He never was vulgar, he spoke simply and had a fluency. First we have to explain the situation of the African americans in the 20th century.
So know we will speak about Malcom X from the begining in his youth to the enf of his life.
Crime:
- He began to be a young offender when he was 13 because that's when he began to live whitout his parents.
- He was a good student, he was the first of his class and he wanted to become a advocate but his teacher said him that for an African americans, that is not a realistic plan becayse he is a negro. He lost all his dreams.
- in 1939, he was send to a detention center for the under-18s in the Michigan. After that, he went to his sister in Boston, He found some little job like shoeshine.
- He went back to the crime when he went to Harlem. He began small trades in 1942.
- He was arrested in 1946 for burglary and he denounced 3black man and 2white girls. So the people have said that the Blacks had bad influence on the whites.
- He was sent to Virginia where he met a prisoner who encourage him to study foreign languages and to learn.
- Malcom asked to be transfered in Virginia where it was a big library open to the prisoners.
- He started to take consience.
