I’d like to talk you about H1N1 virus , because it is a subject of Public health. We have divided us talk into 5 parts : origin, presentation of virus, transmission characteristics of disease, treatment and prevention.

The flu H1N1 is a respiratory disease sharp which appears in 2009.The virus was found in Mexico in the state of Veracruz. Influenza caused a big epidemic all over the world in a few months. World Health organization called this situation pandemic in June 2009, because the transmission was very quick and fast, and now a day people move a lot by the evolution of transport fly…. We cannot call this flu swine flu, because the virus is a mix between swine, bird and humane flu virus.

The transmission is only human to human .It is very quick. They are two types of transmission. First, direct transmission, by respiratory way such as sputter, coughs, and sneeze . then it's easiest the movement of air caused by the air conditioning and recycling of the air. We think it’s important to remember to air frequently your room at work or at home.. Furthermore, the second type is indirect. The transmission operates y contact with infected objects. Let me give an example: object used by the group like handle, buttons of elevators, switch.

Now, we talk about stages of disease. Firstly you are in incubation period, it mears you have the virus so you are carrier but you don’t have signs of disease. You are called healthy carrier., this period during 1 to 3 days .A second point is that you developed the symptoms. We can see them later .Next with the treatment you cure to 3 to 5 days but during one week you stays contagious .Sometimes there are complication to fragile persons and babies.

Finally, the flu in a rare cases can cause the death by one of this 3 mecanism:
