Why did I choose my major? it is a really good question. Remember when you were in elementary school, your teacher asked you “ what do you want to be when you grown up?” As a little girl, you have different dreams and a wild imagination. First, I wanted to be a veterinary. Then, I wanted to be a lawyer. I have this dream career for as long as I remember. I wanted to be a great lawyer. This was my dream. Everybody know that dream change with life.
When I went to college, school counselors advise to study political science as major. they told me it will prepare me to law school. I , first , did not want to do it, but my school counselor told me to at least try. if I did not like it, I could change to something else. I went to my first class of political science. I, first, was intrigued by it. I thought it was a difficult major. I thought I will maybe not understand because I do not have the background I need to follow this class. Surprisingly, I was interested by it and I had good grades. I learned new things. I was so interested by it, that I will do research for myself to learn more. at the end, I like political science major. I did not choose political science because I never thought of learning about political science. I will say that political science chooses me or my school advisor chooses my major for me. It was a good choice.
Today, I do not think that I will have made another choice than this one. I think that political science is the best choice for me. I can say it is the most interesting major that there is. I really love my major. because of my major, I learn the different career existing in this field . I change my dream from when I was a little girl. Now, I have a different dream and I hope I will make it. I will never had made this choice if I had never taken political science as a
