1.ORIGINES OF THIS REVOLUTION
Since 1691 and the end of the war Williamite, Ireland was especially under the control of a Protestant ruling class established(constituted) by members of the church of Ireland faithful to the British Crown. She(it) managed the majority of the catholic Irish population by an institutional system codified in the penal laws.
The Irish Rebellion of 1798, was an uprising against the domination of the kingdom of Great Britain within the kingdom of Ireland. The rebellion was led by The United Irishmens, a revolutionary and republican group, influenced by American Revolution and the french revolution. The Irish revolution seen its origins(background) in the creation of the group of The United Irishmens in Belfast in October1781, This group was then managed by Théobald Wolf Tone who had met Napoleon Bonaparte and was inspired by the French revolution as well as American, Thomas russell, Henry Joy McCracken and William Dreannan. For British this admiration for French was close to the treason (and this idea strengthened when England and France entrire at war in 1793); and they thus decided to delete(eliminate) this company(society) in May, 1794. Nevertheless this "organistion" re-formed in secret and under oath and pursued in its idea of republican Ireland different and independent.
