On February 28, 2010, the TPS Sex Crimes Unit started a sexual assault investigation that has resulted in the arrests of three men and the issuing of Canada Wide Warrants for three other men.. It is alleged that: − between Fall 2009 and February 2010, six men participated in gang sexual assaults against four women, − all of these offences occurred in Toronto, − the victims met the six accused through a Korean community church in the GTA. Between Thursday, March 11, 2010, and Tuesday, March 16, 2010, three men were arrested by the TPS Sex Crimes Unit. Hyung Jun Ha, 26, of Toronto, is charged with: − five counts of Gang Sexual Assault − four counts of Forcible Confinement − four counts of Threatening Death − four counts of Administer Drug for Sex − Making Child Pornography − Assault He was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, room 206, 10 am.
