Fabrication des boites
During this first step, a roll of metal sheet or an aluminium sheet supplies a press which cuts mould and carries out a first operation of stamping for producing cupels.
2) Stamping and drawing out.
Cupels are performed on a drawing out press where successive operations of stamping and drawing out are used to get a suitable heigh.
The bottom is shaped to form a dome so as to resist to the interior pression.
Stamping : operation which consists to shape a piece of metal between a hollow form called matrix and a pattern.
Drawing out : operation which consists to let the building piece go. Stamped by drawing out collars in order to make the metal longer and to make it thinner. Thus we get progressively boxes whose side are thinner that the bottom.
3) Cutting.
The form are treated in a machine which prints them a rotating movement while shears cut them from the inside at the suitable heigh.
4) Cleaning.
Then boxes are cleaned and treated to receive an interior lining and an outside decoration: - Preliminary cleaning by rinsing in the water. - Cleaning by means of a commercial detergent. - Rinsing out thanks to cold water - Rinsing out with dimineralized water - Drying
5) Printing and varnishing.
Boxes are pressed against an inking roll which can print up to four colours at the same time. They are transferred to another post where they receive a transparent protector varnish.
6) Varnishing of the bottom.
Boxes are transfered to another station where a protector varnish is applied to the bottom.
7) Cooking.
Boxes are put on a conveyor and to go a cross furnace where printing ink is dried knee-jerk reaction .
8) Interior lining.
A specially studied lining is vaporized on the interior bottom of the box.
9) Cooking.
Boxes are placed on a conveyor and to go a cross the furnace in which the interior lining is done and to dried.
10) This double operation reduces the
