NOTION 1 :
Spaces and exchanges

Introduction:
The notion “Spaces and exchanges” was our first notion of the year. This notion took place in two different units: one named What did you expect? and an other one entitled Border. The first one was a pleasant moment where we read extracts of letters from "The Freedom Writers Diary" and where we also have write a letter to this associations within the framework of our final task. The following unit was the means to know the sometimes difficult relations between States, in particular on the questions of the immigration shows the problems of it between the Americans and the Mexicans.
Development:
In this notion, I learnt a lot on the contact, the opening and the relations with others. Indeed, I think that the purpose of this notion is to make us (better) understand the communications between various cultures, between various values or between various wealth. Furthermore, the confrontation between two societies can be approached by the double point of view of the cohesion of the society and by its opening towards the other one. This confrontation brings to wonder about the implication of the society in its environment. This implication being made according to the geography and to the history (the heritage) of the territory.
