a. Structure
“Maison du monde” is an SARL a “Public company with Responsibility Restricted” so an LLC.
This legal form is the most spread in France.
It has as main characteristics to restrict the responsibility of the associates.
The sum of the issued capital is freely fixed by the associates according to size, of activity, and needs in capitals of the society. LLC must be constituted by 2 associates minimum and by 100 maximum.
b. Competition/cooperation with another company
“Maison du Monde” cooperate with other companies like logistics partners to process your orders and deliveries (Holding Polymag).
Its direct competitor is Pier Import, Casa, Interiors and IKEA which are much more developed.
c. Labour management
The store must have at least one cashier and two at busy times (between 20 and 45 M / F).
The staff must always be in the store and assist customers. The most important is that a customer doesn’t have to look for the staff during 10 minutes. There is 1 or 2 people who commute between the stocks and the store (between 20 and 40 years M / F).
