MEETING N°1 :

Alban : _ Okay. Everyone’s here now. Let’s get started. The agenda is about employing a new general manager. I hope that everyone has received the file cards of the 4 candidates and has looked at them. Can you remind us the characteristics of our future general manager?

Laura : _ Of course. We would like to find someone able to develop the activity of the six clubs in Manhattan. We need to put a breath of fresh air in these clubs. The person should be dynamic, able to represent the company and have a good sense of organisation and communication.

Alban : _ Well. What do you think about the candidates?

Mickael : _ Can I begin with Isabella Rossetti ?

Together : _ Yes .

Mickael : _ I have noticed several advantages on her file card. She seems to correspond completely to what we seek because she has been a manager in the China Town area, she has managed a team of 10 people. But also because she speaks fluently Italian, she practices judo, she did well on the aptitude test and she loves painting so we can suppose she’s rather creative and has many ideas.

Chloé : _ If I may just interrupt you for a moment, I’d like to draw your attention on the fact that Isabella has maybe many ideas but she don’t follow through on them. Moreover, she looks a little like a feminist.

Elodie : _ I agree with you on the whole, but, in my opinion, a female point of view on our club could attract female customers.

Alban : _ She seems pretty and well dressed. Next.

Chloé : _ Mickael Bolen. He’s married with 3 children so we can say he has a stable familial situation. He has a MBA and has been a marketing director for 4 years in sport. He launched a successful product.

Laura : _ To a certain extent I agree with you, but we can see on his file card that some women find him too cold.

Mickael : _I’d just like to add that Mickael’s views are strong and that he has often
