Anger
When people are in a state of anger, it means that they are partly deprived of common sense, of sensible judgement. They tend to be overwhelmed by the feeling which may trigger off words they would never have uttered or acts they would never have performed in other circumstances. This nasty behaviour cannot possibly help to solve problems; on the contrary, it may only add tension and stress and lead to a deeper conflict, that is worsen the situation. Some people, especially those of a nervous disposition, are particularly subject to these fits of anger but it may happen to everyone: who has not once been rude to a close friend or to a member of family and then regretted it? Even though it is not irreversible, throwing tantrums all the time is bound to damage one’s relationships with classmates, colleagues or relatives. Life is much easier and nicer with a proper language and people in a good mood. In addition, anger does not seem to be the right way to improve human relationships as far as communication is concerned. We live in a world where it is getting more and more difficult to communicate with people around us, then let us make an effort and think before getting all worked up: anger is definitely not the best counsellor!
